19 June 2009Met up with May and Jac after work for our long-awaited spa session at The Ultimate!
The place was really nicely decorated and after the massage we truly felt rejuvenated! (Or maybe at least I did!) =)
And some thing random, the red bean soup served after our session tasted really good!!
HAHA.
Dinner was at Pastamania!!
Then to Lot 1 for a little shopping, and back to their place!

Worked, home, slept, watched TV and shows online, FB-ed and waited till midnight before heading out to KBox @ Jurong Safra with Joseph!
New room and system, hence not a bad experience. That's why I was back at the same place the following night!

Felt kinda different coz there were more Hokkien and Cantonese songs. And it was the first time I heard my brother sing. Lol.
Anyway that was some sort of celebration for Father's Day, so it was indeed a truly new experience! =)

So first few from the Fascinating Malaysia Travel Fair which was held exactly a month ago!
Had lots of fun taking the above pictures, plus the lighting was really good too!

Met up with my dearest cousin for dinner at the Chicken Rice Shop after work.
Everything else was nice, all except the chicken.
Haha.
It's super fatty and oily.
Shopped abit and headed back to JP for some dessert @ Bakerzin!
The warm chocolate cake was heavenly and the macaroons tasted good too! =)
Then it was a stayover for her at my place!
Long long time since her last stayover.

Siew Cheng came over to Vivo and treated me for lunch at Thai Accent!
Reason being she can't make it to my place for my birthday celebration.
I love their Stir-Fried Chicken with Cashew Nuts!
The Seafood Tom-Yum Bee Hoon and Fried Kang Kong was great too!
But the Thai Fishcake was a disappointment.
Too much spices I suppose and it ended up with a really weird taste.
Then dinner was with Kok Wee at this German restaurant (if I'm not wrong) beside Raffles City.
Food was really good and they have generous servings too!
Will definitely go there again if there's a chance!! =)
Then dessert was at Waffle Town, somewhere in Newton Circle I think?
It was okay, but would be better if we has maple syrup instead of chocolate.
And as you can see, I've been eating too much and it's not ending yet!

Had a small celebration at my place for my 21st and coz my place is not exactly too big, hence there weren't many people. But food ordered was way way WAY too much!
But I'm uberly impressed by my relatives coz they managed to clear everything into boxes and bring them home!
Good thing coz the food were not wasted!
After everything was cleared, it was k-ing session with my cousins!
My angbaos and presents for the day.
And I really really love the sketch!

I've got a surprise from the 3 interns in the office and they were REALLY sweet to have actually remembered my birthday!
I was super touched and happy and very much surprised when they pulled the party poppers from behind my back!
But thanks sweets! I appreciate the efforts for the card, and I love the cake and PRUNES! Lol.

It's been super long since i last log into this little space of mine!!
Wanted to blog so long ago, but I feel so lazy!!
Especially when I have SOOO many outdated photos, all accumulating in my PC.
Maybe I'll post them all up in the next entry, most probably without captions. HAHA.
Coz I'm simply TOO lazy.
Anyway, the objective of this entry is just to announce that I've finally found a new job!!
Words can't describe how ecstatic I am when they called me up to tell me that I've been appointed for the job.
And I thought I didn't really spoken well during the interview.
But oh well, it doesn't really matter now, and I really truly hope that I'll be able to stay and continue at this new workplace of mine!! =)
May 15 July quickly come!! I can't wait!!!
And oh last thing! I hope my
bff and
hon will be able to join me too!! Give me your good news soon!! =D

Short update with just a few pictures!!
Shopped with BFF at Vivo after work on Thursday.
Finished in less than an hour and then we headed to Holland V for dinner.
Food at Al Dente Trattoria was good!
And I especially love their wild mushroom broth!
A must try if you have the chance to dine there! =)
I spent quite some time editing the following pictures so as to make them look more appealing than they already are. Haha.
It's been a long time since we sat down and have a good concersation though she sits right beside me at work everyday!!

But I'm sorry that you've got to bear with me 'cause I get tired easily!! Lol.
My weekend was spent at home, trying to do my assignments.
But the more I tried, the more I can't focus.
And so I wasted my time napping away.
Took leave on Monday 'cause I promised my MM to go to JB with her one of these days.
So yeah, that's us for a day trip across the causeway!
Had our lunch at Sizzling Stonegrill. (Her highly recommended restaurant)
Concept is exactly the same as Hot Stones at Clark Quay.
But of course there is a vast difference in price.
Though food was good, I won't want to eat there again anytime soon because I have to cook myself!
HAHA.
Spent about 4 hours in the shopping mall and then headed back to SG.
Went to Bukit Batok and then back to JP and we found that the JP Dental Clinic is charging a relatively lower price for braces than what I've found online.
So after much consideration, I've decided to switch over to that dental clinic, and she'd decided to get her done there too! =)
I can't wait for June to come.

and I've got to wake up at 5am tomorrow.

Coz I've got to go to JB.
Reason being?
I've got to handle some things on behalf of the company.
And I don't like it.
Now the only thing I can wish for is that they can speak in English in the course of the whole event.

Gonna blog abit coz i've got some photos from last weekend!!
Good friday was spent out with M.Y Long.
We wanted to study initially but silly us forgotten that the library was not in operation on public holidays!!
Decided to go to Chevrons because she said she miss the dancing the Para Para.
HAHA.
Plus we went for a bowling session too!
And I'm proud to say that my score has improved since my last bowl the previous year!
I don't know why am I in this weird position.

IMM was our next destination and we really walked aimlessly.
Dinner was at Spagetti Too and I love their Aglio Olio!!
Met up with J.Phang and K.Teo after work on Saturday for lunch at VivoCity.
But K.Teo was super late!!
Settled our meal at White Dog Cafe and I must say though the food presentation is good, there's nothing commendable in terms of the taste.
Headed to West Coast Plaza and left for Chevrons in within 30 mins.
Bought their stuff and home we went!
NUS with my cousin and her friends for squash on Sunday!!
My first try at it and I've learnt how to serve!!
Haha.
Not too bad already I suppose.
I think I will want to play it more often coz I want to exercise!!
Get rid of all my stubborn fats. (Minus all the aching)
Lol.
Her mom, my aunt came to fetch us home and we mahjong-ed for awhile.
Lost quite abit and I was REALLY REALLY tired.
Luckily this week I'm not on the 9am shift and I can sleep more!

I haven't blogged for a month.
And till now I'm still really lazy to do so.
Shan't recollect and track back what I've missed listing.
All that matters is that I'd enjoyed my time while I was out! =)
Can't wait for this weekend to arrive coz I'll have more time to rest!!
On an additional note, i need some advices!!
Advise me on whether I should change my job at this point of time.
Advise me on whether I should leave my job now to join another company which has nothing to do with what I'm studying, but pay is higher than what I'm getting now. Around 300-500 more I think).
But if anyone has any other offers for job vacancies please do let me know the details!
